Security & Safety Film
Security and safety film makes ordinary glass far harder to break through. Heavy anti-shatter film holds broken glass together against impact, storms, and forced entry, buying time and keeping shards off the floor.
How security & safety film works.
A thick, tear-resistant film bonds to the interior of the glass so that when a pane is struck, the fragments stay attached to the film instead of flying or falling. That holds the barrier together longer against a break-in attempt, reduces injury from broken glass, and adds resilience against storms and accidental impact.
What you can count on.
Holds glass together
Anti-shatter film keeps broken glass bonded to the film instead of collapsing into dangerous shards.
Delays forced entry
A reinforced pane takes longer to break through, buying critical time and deterring smash-and-grab attempts.
Safer in storms
Reduces flying-glass injury from impact, severe weather, and accidents.
Warrantied by film type
Professionally installed and warrantied - lifetime on residential, 15 years on commercial, varying by film type.
| Before film | With security & safety film |
|---|---|
| Rooms overheat and the AC runs flat out | Up to 80% of solar heat rejected at the glass |
| Floors, fabric and art fade in the sun | 99% of fading UV blocked |
| Seasonal cooling costs run high | Cooling costs typically 10-30% lower |
